8:18. וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־דָּוִד אָבִי יַעַן אֲשֶׁר הָיָה עִם־לְבָבְךָ לִבְנוֹת בַּיִת לִשְׁמִי הֱטִיבֹתָ כִּי הָיָה עִם־לְבָבֶךָ ׃

8:18. יח ויאמר יהוה אל דוד אבי יען אשר היה עם לבבך לבנות בית לשמי--הטיבת כי היה עם לבבך

8:18. וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־דָּוִד אָבִי יַעַן אֲשֶׁר הָיָה עִם־לְבָבְךָ לִבְנֹות בַּיִת לִשְׁמִי הֱטִיבֹתָ כִּי הָיָה עִם־לְבָבֶךָ׃

8:18. ‏וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֔י יַ֗עַן אֲשֶׁ֤ר הָיָה֙ עִם־לְבָ֣בְךָ֔ לִבְנ֥וֹת בַּ֖יִת לִשְׁמִ֑י הֱטִיבֹ֔תָ כִּ֥י הָיָ֖ה עִם־לְבָבֶֽךָ׃

8:18. The LORD told my father David, 'It is right for you to have a strong desire to build a temple to honor me.

8:18. But the LORD told him, 'You wanted to build the Temple to honor my name. Your intention is good,

8:18. But Jehovah said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house for my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart:

8:18. And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.

8:18. But the Lord said to my father David, 'I know that you want very much to build a temple to honor me, and it is good that you want to build it.

8:18. But Yahweh said to David my father, Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart:
